Hiking route

This hiking loop is suitable for experienced walkers, offering the possibility of discovering unique sides of the City of San Marino and Monte Titano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The starting point is the Via Kennedy car park, from where the famous Sentiero della Rupe begins. The route is short but technical, requiring sure-footedness, sturdy footwear suitable for hiking and walking experience. The first stretch of the route takes you to the summit of Monte Titano, from where you can overlook the fortified city of San Marino, the Adriatic Coast and Montefeltro. Once having gone past the Tre Torri and the historic town centre, the most adventurous part of the route begins, running along the east side of the cliff, within a lush forest and flanking white cliffs. The steepest or most exposed sections are equipped with ropes, cables and stairs. At the end of the ascent, return to the starting point, the Via Kennedy car park.
