Hiking route

This walking tour allows you to discover the lesser-known corners of Riccione, known as the ‘Green Pearl of the Adriatic’. The starting point is the Riccione Station from where, in no time at all, you reach the Lungomare della Libertà, distinguished by palm trees and flowers. Continue towards the port, walk along the Corso del Rio Melo and, after Viale Castrocaro, enter the area of city parks – the Parco degli Olivetani, Parco della Pace and Parco degli Agolanti dominated by a splendid castle. The last stretch of this route takes you back to the waterfront, right after passing the Rotonda delle Farfalle – the charming Rotunda of Butterflies. Before returning to the station, don’t miss out on taking a snapshot of the Bosco della Pioggia fountain with the iconic Riccione sign. The best time to complete this walk is early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
