Discovering Montescudo and Monte Colombo

Hiking route

A loop through hilly landscapes where the Conca and Marano rivers flow. This route is suitable for everyone, passing along nature trails and along scenic roads. Set off from the centre of Monte Colombo, taking a path that winds through green fields, offering evocative views of the valley below, until becoming an easy dirt road. After a short stretch, enter the cool forest before coming to an asphalt road that, with gentle bends, leads to the historic town centre of Montescudo. Take a break in the characteristic panoramic piazza in front of the town hall, even climbing the bell tower before returning to Monte Colombo.
