Hiking route

The scenic Coriano loop takes you through a hilly area rich in history, culture and good food, passing by some of the area’s leading wineries. Although simple, the route is not signposted, so we do advise that you follow the GPS track. Set out from Coriano and walk through an expanse of cultivated fields towards the Fosso di Besanigo. Near Passano, go back up the hill then continue down to Rio Melo, an ancient salt mining site. In Coriano, you can visit the remains of the Rocca Malatestiana and the Marco Simoncelli Museum.
