A stroll around Mondaino

Set off from the Mondaino Bus Station to be immersed in the medieval atmosphere of the historic town centre, famous for the “Palio del Daino”, a historical re-enactment held each year in August. With its characteristic circular piazza and majestic Rocca Malatestiana, Mondaino is one of the most beautiful villages in the Valconca. After exiting the walls, take the Santo Sepolcro path through a cool deciduous forest. Walk about 4 kilometres, enjoying the tranquillity of nature. Once you come to a fork in the road, turn left and follow the Sentiero della Beata Elisabetta Renzi. Be prepared for a short but intense climb that will take you to the top of a hill, from where you can admire a fantastic panorama of the valley. From here, continue slightly uphill until returning to the starting point. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and take a bottle of water with you. You can reach Mondaino by bus from the Riccione Station, taking Line 125 then Line 175.
